Takegawa 5 plate xr100

I finally got to put some real abuse on the 5 plate xr100 conversion clutch that i ordered so many months ago. It held up very well, the stock setup with heavy springs would start giving up after 15 minutes and the lever would get real sloppy. The 5 plate never really changed it's pull length over the entire ride and never gave me the "sliding into gear" feeling. The springs that came with it were larger diameter than the EBC heavy ones but with the MSR raptor lever it's real easy to pull and engages smoothly. They also change the oil pump ratio for more displacement which should help with an oil cooler. I was running 14/48 gearing before the swap and 13/48 seems to compensate for the different primary ratio pretty good.

Where do you get a Takegawa 5 plate clutch for the XR100?

I got this one from Classic Honda in texas, they don't stock it so it's a special order from Japan. That just means you have to wait a month to get it,i paid about$300 for it. If you go to takegawa's site they show it there.
