Wheel Lacing in San Diego County?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys.

I need my wheels re laced and dont know where to take them in San Diego County. I live down near the border in Chula Vista. I have a set of Kawasaki wheels (KLX 650) and some Husky wheels (450 TC). The two shops I have used in the past have both closed down now (Lemon Grove and Kearney Mesa). Do you have any shops that you have used personally that do a good job and can order spokes as well? I ride mostly Baja and desert and need a good, solid, cross 3 lace. Thanks. Steny

I reside in Temecula and have laced my own wheels. They have come out straight and tight with no issues. It's not a hard thing to do with patients. If you want to save money and learn to do it yourself send me a PM and I will be glad to help you out. I have no idea what shops around here lace wheels and I'm sure it's over $100. Let me know.
