Recommended Posts

I need to know if I have to take the cylinder and head off to put the timeing chain back on the lower sprocket, or is there a way not to have to take everything off?

Just play around with it a little, and you should be able to get it to slip on. Remember you now have to alighn the botton punch mark on the gear as well as the cam gear marks.

what do you mean, you mean put the engine at top dead center? because you have to do that everytime. or is there another adjustment i have to do now that the chain fell off?

I had the same problem a few days ago, I had to take the head/cylinder off to get it back on.

no you dont, jeez, take off your right left engine cover (with the dip stick) and you should be able to see it around there

i dont see whats so hard about putting it on without taking the cover off
