Re-Wiring help!!!

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of restoring a 1994 Husky TE610. I have stripped the bike down, sanblasted the frame and had it repainted in a cool blue color. I have finished installing the motor, front end, swing arm and rear rim. Now it's time to hit the headlight and wiring. I am waiting on some clutch and rear barke parts but for the most part I have everything. (Thanks to the help of Dan at Motoxotica)

here are some before and after pics.P3090001.jpghttp://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i169/alumaweld/P4020020.jpg

This bike was plated for California roads before I bought it. It has Acerbis headlight and taillight assy complete with blinkers. The light/controls wiring harness is off a Yamaha. (not sure that matters).

I am in search of the wiring diagram for this bike. Yes, I could use a volt/ohm meter to track the existing wiring but it would be much easier if I had the diagram so I can make all new harnesses.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hey, that's looking really good. Looks like a fun project.

If you need to add wiring, I would suggest getting some waterproof bullet connectors (not easy to find). I tracked down some really nice crimp on ones that heat shrink where the wire goes in, and have clear rubber boots.

I just finished wiring in a baja designs control switch and full DOT legal gear on my 2004 TE250, worked out great.

See "Heat-Shrink Snap-Plug Terminals" on the following page:
