bike floods out in wheelies.. any solution?

My 150 stalls out on balance point wheelies...

Whenever I do them, or have a friend do them, gas just RUNS out the overflow tube on the carb..

The only solution I have found is to shut the gas off before EVERY wheelie, then turn it back on after, and shut it right back off for the next wheelie..

Maybe I could lower the float height? Then again that might make it run like crap on flat ground, and still stall out in a wheelie.. ?

Hopfully I can figure out somthing.. 95% of the time im riding my 150, im doing wheelies

its your floats, they sound like they're screwed up... take off your float bowl and clean it all out including the floats and while your that far might as well clean your jets

well the bike is only a month old.. and its done it ever since the first day I bought it

when im doing wheelies the bike is almost straight up and down..

I almost need like a 45 degree angle intake so the carb would sit at an angle.. hmmmm ?

Mine never stalls out but it does leak out the overflow, this is normal. Maybe adjust the float a little bit, this might help the stalling but it will always come out the tube.

gas dripping out of the carb is normal. all the carbed quads i have ridden have done it at balance point and back, my little crf 50 does it. Mine never bog or stall out though

my TTR used to do it as well. but it didnt gush out, just small dripping.

you may wanna check your float bowl just to see if you cant improve it a tiny bit.

When you're vertical, thats gonna happen. I saw your vid, and you seem to be able to do that for a while...you cant stop it from happening. The bikes weren't meant for doing wheelies for that extended period of time.

But try to zip-tie some sort of catch can onto your bike to keep the gas from getting on the bike and on the concrete.

I know there was talk about a catch can and vacuum fuel pump off a snowmobile to pump it back into the tank but I don't know if he finished it.
