The Worlds Smallest Desert!

I just got back from an Alaska cruise vacation.

If you ever get an opportunity to go this this beautiful state, TAKE IT!

One of the highlights was taking a tour from Skagway up to Carcross. This is the location for the World's Smallest Desert!

Once there my son and I rode 4 wheel drive ATV's. We were the only ones on the ride so our guide let us go nuts in the dunes until the last possible minute.

To top it off our tour bus driver turned out to be no less than Paul Voorheese of Cycle News East and Moto World fame! We blabbed about bikes the whole 2 hours back down to Skagway!

I think that is how I am going to go back there! One of my good riding Buddy's rode up to the Arctic Circle earlier this year. Might have to upgrade my D/S XR650R to that new KTM950 twin! - errr, add it too my quiver of bikes! Hee Hee!
