dirt rider said that the 450x used in baja was clocked at 109mph with a 15/47 gearing. It was faster then the xr650 with the same sprocket gearing. It also beat the xr in the baja 500

I think 109MPH with 15/47 is not too far fetched.

At the last Viewfinders GP here in Ridgecrest my bro Ryan Abbatoye was clocked at around 100 on a KX 250 with 14/48.

oh and BTW...I would bet the engine on that Factory Honda 450 was built to the nines (and was shot at the end of the race)

holy shit 109mph is fast on a dirbike. i've been clocked at 115kph on my 250f against a ktm 400 and damn that was scary on a fire break trail.. yay im leaving in 40mins 2 go snowboarding 4 the weekend im in a good mood.! Yipeee!! ?

My stock 450x with only JD jetting kit and airbox mod can do 70 mph. up one tooth on the front and I got 77, tops.

It does have a five speed. Try using the fifth gear. You'll be amazed at how fast it can go.
