Castrol Engine Oil

Would the Castrol ACTIV4T engine oil be ok for the DRZ. It is a 4 stroke motorbike oil but I dont know if it ok with wet clutches.

Thier site says "designed specifically for 4-stroke engines" and " Suitable for use in all Modern Japanese and European Bikes." So I guess just keep it away from an American made bike and you'll be OK :ride:

If it doesn't say "Energy Conserving" on it then it's fine! Stay away from the Energy Conserving oils that contain PTFE (Polytetrafloeraethylene), more commonly known by the tradename "Teflon". :thumbsup: This stuff is no good for wet clutch systems.

Thanks. Looks good to me. It is about half the price of the stuff the dealer try to push onto you.

Yes it is fine however it isnt as good as the Mobil 1 products. The reason it costs alittle less is because they use hydrcracked carbons where as we use PAO.
