CRF88 Takegawa Type R

Hi,

I've got the takegawa 88cc r stage kit on my sons bike, along with an icat, fmf exhaust and rev box, he races ovals on it.

Will a rotor kit work with it, he is seven and still running auto, any other mods without doing the 107cc mod?

Also when he pulls off there is a lot of hesitation, any ideas on what this could be?

This is your best bet! BUY a kitaco rev box. It may sound stupid but I had alot of low end bog. Once I stuck a kitaco rev box on my r-stage it went away. (well there was a tiny bit of fine tuning)

The inner will work. The only mod I could think of that would be left is a HD auto clutch!

Is it hesitation like its just sucking air or hesitation like its jumping forward, kinda wanting to go but keeps backing off? (if that makes sense)

Try the rev box like DC suggested, play with the fuel screw on the carb. Hows the plug look?

If your going to get Inner Rotor dont bother with a rev box. But yes, the Inner Rotor will work with that setup quite nicely, much quicerk acceleration and more overrev. Really makes a 88 scream.
