Jetting for Moab, UT

Taking the bike to Moab this year and need help with the Jetting. ? Have the JD kit , ccc , 06 r piston, and 06 r head. Have the 165 main in. Clip in the 5th on the red.

Going in October. Any thoughts would be great.

JD Instructions say tell you to run 155, 4th clip (middle) for 3000 - 6000 ft.

I an running this on an opened air box stock 04, mostly 4000-7000 ft and

80 - 100 degrees and it rips, no bog at all

No prob, Have fun in Moab, its a blast. I went in April and in convinced me that I needed to dump that XR4 pig and upgrade to the X. ?

I rented a xr 400 in Moab last year. It held its own ? , but is a little on the heavy side.

I am ready to see how the X handles it. I think I will drop a tooth on the front for the trip.

I has a little short on seat time on the XR4 and it was a handful for me.

I also drooped I tooth in the front and it really chugs along well in the tight and technical stuff, top end hasn't been an issue.
