Help i think theres something wrong

Recommended Posts

I had the bike in gear and i had to move it around my garage. So i pulled the clutch in and started pushing but there seems to be some sorta resistance or something rubbing cause it was hard as hell to move. Once i had it in neutral there was no problem wheel was spinning freely. So i decided to try something else i started the bike and had it in gear and pulled the clutch in no problem wheel was spinning freely. Its only when the bikes turned off that theres a problem. This isnt normal is it?

Normal. It's drag of the clutch plates and oil. The same thing will happen with the engine hot, but won't be nearly as strong or noticeable due to the heated oil being less viscous (thinner)

Hard as hell to move.

Check your clutch lever free-play.

It's possible you have too much free-play, which prevents the clutch from fully disengaging, when you pull in the lever.
