05 WR250 Fork Height

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I've been riding the WR on slick grassy sections and tight single trail. I've set the sag correctly and am running Dunlop 756 tires.

The bike isn't sticking through corners aswell as I'd like it to. At present I've got the forks slipped up approx 5mm (standard) in the clamps.

My question is this: Do most of you guys slip them up further (and reset sag) or do you run with stock. Am I the only bloke running standard height?

Should I just work on my turning technique at standard setting or take the softer option and adjust them. BTW I'm not too concerned about the assoicated higher speed instability.

Thanks
