ds66 Posted August 18, 2006 what does an inner rotor kit do for the bike? if it makes it go faster then i want one...lol
e h donahey Posted August 18, 2006 it didn't do anything for my CRII other than forsing us to make every input become smoother. no engine breaking. easy to tune. no instructions needed unless you are totaly clueless. maybe if you ride dirt its a good thing but not roadrace. its the way to go if you have a cam, piston, carb etc.... but on a stock 125 not worth 250$. better to spend your money on the rear shock
ds66 Posted August 18, 2006 Good advice, the shock is pretty good on my bike... might get a cdi thing...
Kx250FRiDeR651 My Rides (3) Posted August 18, 2006 i wouldnt waste the 300$ on an inner rotor, but yes theres instructions, but there in japanese
crwdirtyj Posted August 18, 2006 I didn't ask for stupid comments if you would have one or not need instructions on how to install and set timing advance
e h donahey Posted August 18, 2006 simply install the kit. the bike will run how ever it is set. adjust for advance or retarded ignition. tune it until it runs how you want it to run. Make sure you tighten the fastners prior to installing it as once you have put it together its a drag to try and tighten the stand offs with the plate installed! Use lock tight too. You might have to make your own wire connections with splices or quick disconnects, might even have to add some wires for the ground etc.. Its really straight forward
crwdirtyj Posted August 18, 2006 thanks for the info
e h donahey Posted August 19, 2006 I installed one about 2 weeks ago. tested and tuned it for 2 hours. My son used it for 3 hours in a roadrace school in the rain. We then raced it for 3 hours non stop that evening. the next day he practiced with it and then did 3 sprint races. NEVER 1 problem with it you better be a schmoove operator
