rear caliper problem

i'll post some pics and try to explain my problem. I really hoping someone can shed light on my problem ?

the picture on paper shows what the microfiche says i should have, the part is what is on my bike

this is the other side of the braket in question

this is the PROBLEM, my pads are only halfway on the disc.

Just a guess, but I think you have an RM or RMZ calliper bracket not a DRZ one.

The RM and RMZ has a larger rear disc, you need either a DRZ carrier on an RM/RMZ disc.

Oh, the DRZ "SM" uses the larger disc as well.

yeah, it's an e-model converted to an SM...

what is better to do, can i be sure if i get a bigger disc it will fit?

thats a RM or SM caliper carrier.works fine with the bigger rotor.

I picked an aftermarket RM disk from Rocky mountain for cheap. It is for my set of dirt rims so wear is not a primary concern

ok, thanks for clearing that up, so all this will lead to a performance upgrade, doesn't that happen more often then not? ?
