$4500 for a 2005 YZ250F?

Recommended Posts

I just looked at a 2005 YZ250F. It was only flat track raced a few times, and has close to probally 4 or 5 hours on it. It is completly stock. They want $4500 for it. Is this to much? My family is good friends with the manager and I am sure that we can talk him down quit a bit if needed, what would be a reasonible price to offer?

Thanks, Sawyer

It's a good price, offer him $4000 in cash, right when he sees the cash in you're hand I'm sure he won't think twice about the price.

If it has had the suspension lowered by a qualified shop, and a 19 inch front wheel with new Dunlop (Goodyear) DTII tires, the price is good. The suspension work and wheels would be close to $1000.

If the 4 or 5 hours were all on a flat track, thats 4 or 5 hours of full throttle bouncing off the rev limiter or close to it.

I only paid $3400 for my 05 a few months ago. It all depends on the market where you are.
