Insurance Survey

Just wondering what you guys are paying to insure your bikes and what coverages are you carrying? I have Progressive but I think I can do better than $300 a year.

I also have progressive and pay 180 for full coverage. I think to get a good comparision you are going to have to ask what age and driving record. I'm 35 and have a clean slate for now.

I pay $270 a year with Progressive. I have full coverage comp/coll/theft with towing, and $1000 of aftermarket parts.

I am in AZ with a clean record and am over 40. BTW, according to Progressive, I only use my bike for recreational purposes...<10 miles a day.:ride:

It's about $100 cheaper than when I was with Farmers.

Later...

I'm 48yo. Clean driving record for 32 yrs and I pay $787.00CDN full coverage, it would be $409.00 for basic government ins. And I have $1000.00 deductible on the comrehensive portion. That's why I bought a 400cc. The cost goes way up at 401cc. Most of you guys are getting a great deal...or am I just getting f...ed??

i think we should define what "full coverage" means.

I have Allstate. Year-round coverage

Liability 25/50

Unisured motorist 50,000

underinsured motorist 50,000

guest medical

medical payments 5,000

Full Comprehesive 100 deduct

Full Collison 100 deduct

$240 / year

I could cut this in about half if I cancelled collision, comp, and the medical coverages.

P.S. this is for a 30's male, married, premier discounts, spotless record, and 10 year history with Allstate - no claims.
