Could use some input regarding value of 2001 XR100

Friend wants to buy my kids 2001 XR100 - $1000? Good condition, bone stock.

Would have posted in the XR/CRF 80-200 section of TT but my guess is those have been modded and possibly abused.

California location. Anyone?

I got 1200 for my 2003 last year, I'd say 1000 is pretty good.

Friend borrowed it, he was thinking about buying it anyway. Of course his daughter crashed it.... So I will probably just sell it to him and he can fix it anyway he wants whenever he wants.
