Best Place for Tires

Recommended Posts

I want the Pirelli MT21 (17") for my 03' 650. Where's the best place to go (www, or ? in Chicago area) -- cheapest, fastest shipping, overall service reliability, etc.

SOrry to revive a post that probably has been covered a hundred times, but just looking for the latest bit of info.

On the Net try bikebandit.com or Tires Unlimited (don't know the "url", try a google) both are reliable and have decent prices. I just saved $70 on a tire from bikebandit over the local dealer's price. I'm sure there are others on the Net with good prices if you look around.

I get mine from www.ridenowonline.com. I picked up my MT21's for under $100 for both in the spring. I think they went up though because of all the BS with these gas prices. They currently have the rear for $62.07 and the front for $55.17

I have bought from Dennis Kirk which has very fast shipping to upper midwest but prices a bit higher. Free shipping on larger orders.

Last tires fro Southwest Mototires. Good prices if you order 2 or more and get free shipping. pays not to live in AZ and pay sales tax though

Okay, I need some recommendations. I am 70% street, 30% moderate trail/dirt.

Do I go 120 or 130 width.

I only see a 90% aspect ratio, which is guess is cool.

Do I need a new tube? The old one has 3500 miles on it.

I always put a new tube in at every tire change, why chance it?

Rockymountain www.rockymountainatv.com is a good place to order from, I've used them for the last 4 tires

I ordered a D6o6 on tuesday and got it on friday

Go with the 130 (5.10) it fits well and more bite, if you go with the 120 (4.60) it will seem (and is ) pretty narrow. Just my $.02.

But there shipping SUCKS if you are on the west coast

Their slogan is "When you want it now" but is more like when you want it in a week and a half, or longer

I like DK, just not when I really need something
