8/27 Hare Scrambles @ Rockhouse

Just a reminder to anyone that's interested in watching or riding a

hare scrambles, Mideast is running round 8 at "Rockhouse" this weekend.

It's usually $5 gate fee to get in to spectate and $25 to race.(I think

it's $30 for nonmembers) They usually incorporate a good size section

of the motocross track,a creek jump or two,some considerable up and

downhill sections and as the name indicates,rocky trail kinda stuff.

They run mini's and youth in the a.m., adult bike classes start about noon

and 4 wheelers in the afternoon around 3. Rockhouse is off of Hwy. 18

between Shelby and Morganton N.C. For directions and other info, check
