Colorado 400 Jetting - Thumper 270x

Recommended Posts

I have a stock bore 250 and I run 153 main, 42 leak, and 3rd clip. You might want to talk to Eddie the Jetting specialist and he could help. I would guess that this would be a pretty close setting for this area for you because that's what I'm running at 5000-6000. Have you checked out http://rickramsey.net/CRF250Xbigbore.htm I'm not sure if he has the specs up but if he does he'll know because he lives just a few min from Taylor park.

Please do not kick posts back up the list, if you do so again we will talk. (I let the first one go).

Thanks for your understanding.

btw, Hit_the_set knows his stuff and he is more than willing to help. Dont burn a bridge so soon, at least let him know if the information he gave you helped or not. ?

Rick Ramsey has an excellent site...I reviewed within weeks after he originally opened up the site. I have been riding Colorado annually for a number of years and have the jetting perfected for the Honda 250X. My question pertained to my new Thumper 270. Admittedly I can come up with a proportion to determine close jetting. My original thinking was that a number of folks now use the 270 vs the 250. I had already contacted Thumper with there recommendation...I value the information on this web site and was simply interested in what other actual 270 owners are using. The confusion centers around 250 vs 270. You are correct...I should have not bumped up the post.

Thanks
