I use my YZ250 maily for tight desert/woods singletrack, and just basic woods riding, and for tight technical SX style tracks. My CRF450R is much more suitable for higher speed desert/offroad riding and far superior on most MX tracks. I do have to say though, if I could have only one of the two, I'd definitely say the 250 smoker is the most versatile, more reliable, and cheaper/easier to maintain - so I'd have to go with the YZ!

kewl, mate! that's why i'm getting me a YZ250 :ride::thumbsup:

I am faster in the woods on my WR250F than I was on my YZ250. The 250F put all 30 HP to the ground with minimal worry about throttle control. My YZ250 and WR250's before needed heavy flywheel weights and lots of throttle control. I think a WR200 based on a YZ125 would be perfect!
