cemmons32 Posted August 22, 2006 Just sort of a heads up to you guys out there, give the rubber o rings on your oil filter....holder.....thing and looking over, i was changing my oil today and one of mine broke, im not racing now so no big deal, but that might suck for someone changing their oil at the race or somthing. motodemon172 Posted August 23, 2006 you talking about the o-rings on the oil filter cover or the gasket on the filter itself?
cemmons32 Posted August 23, 2006 the o rings on the oil filter cover, i dont know if you have to have both of them or if they put two on for extra protection, but somehow mine was broken when i took it off, not any big deal or anything, but like i said, it might be if your changing your oil in between motos or somthing. pil321 Posted August 25, 2006 Thanks for the tip. You most definatly need both as they sepparate the filtered and unfiltered oil.
