Grease Question

Alright so im in the process of cleaning and greasing my swingarm and linkage. Well im at the grease stage and i was wondering if i could just use the most exspensive autozone grease, its some valvoline stuff. I cant find bel-ray anywere, would this be alright to use for my bearings?

DITTO.... As long as it is waterproof bearing grease you will be fine. Just make sure you check the bearings regularly, ESPECIALLY the steering stem bearings as the hot oil in the frame brakes it down much faster. SOOOO many people focus on the swingarm and FORGET all about the vulnerable steering stem bearings, and then wonder why there front end is washing out. YAMAHA is the ONLY manufacturer to use their frame for SOMETHING going all the way back to the early 80's when they used it for coolant, now they are using it for the oil. CHECK THOSE STEERING STEM BEARINGS religiously. THEY ARE VULNERABLE due to the heat they carry from the frame reservoir.
