Recommended Posts

If its that easy I guess I should find a new shop. They said it couldn't be done. but would research and call me back. Thanks I knew there was another way.

Yeah its easy... Hardest part is finding a set of E or S wheels. I got some S wheels from another member on this site, and swapped my sm rotors over. Added a 44 tooth sprocket, and there you go.

I bought a complete wheelset from the TT store, it's expensive to go that way, but it only takes me about ten minutes and my bike is ready to go. Call the TT store if you're considering going that route, they've sold many sets and have good advise.

Wish I had bought a set of "E" wheels...

I ordered (and paid for) a set of Talon/Excels and found near new "E" wheels a couple days later for $400.

I spent $1300 on the wheel set w/o tires or rotors. Cool part about it is that the hubs and wheels are black to match the bike. Still too expensive, though.
