400E Spedometer

i just put a trailtech lynx on my e/sm. so far i like it. i probably should have went with the vapor though. more functions.

don't know if they would be considered cheap. if you compare it to the price of the oe s model speedo, it's cheap.

a bicycle speedo will be cheap. i wanted backlighting.

I used to have a DR 350 I made street legal. I put a $12.00 Schwin speedo/odo on it I got from Wal-Mart. It worked just fine once I figured out how to mount the pick-up on the fork and a magnet on the front disc.

Will take a bit of "inventing" on your part but was cheap.

I got a new ATK speedo on Ebay for about $40. Made a bracket for it and it works and looks great backlit also.

I installed a Vapor on my E... with the aluminum protector its about $150 which is not bad considering you get much more than just a speedo/odo...

I've had a sigma for my ex-Ktm.

Some models have great features...

But most of them have no backlight, also do a search on the net, there are pages explaining how to install a bicycle computer to an enduro motorbike.

Have fun with your drz...
