leaky idle screw

my sons kx100 06 idle screw is a little wet or leaking is this normal and if not

why?i already put a new one in theres no o ring just the screw looks just like the old one and i see no damage or stripped threads

is this a stupid question and thats why nobody will answer. because it didn't leak before.i know these things are as dirty as a gas model air plane or car but &%$#@!

That is pretty weird, but maybe it some gas just goes through the slide, then builds up, where the idle screw is and comes out. Is it too much to deal with? The carb is kind of tucked away, so your son's leg shouldn't hit it.

no its not to much at all, i mean its tiny but we clean our bikes all the time

and one day i noticed it.just wonder if it creates a air leak or any thing else

my kdx carb does the same, just a little dirt build up around the screw.

don't think its leaking by just maybe vibration migration.
