Lowered front end put it back to stock?

Recommended Posts

My used TE510 had the front end dropped about 5/8" The fork tubes are above the top triple by three rings. I'm contemplating putting it back to where it should as I didn't see a need to have it lowered. From what I've heard the Husky front end generally doesn't suffer from the front end washing out. The previous owner rode a lot of tight woods. Where does does everyone run their forks at? I know on the street I would lower some of my bikes to get a little more weight to the front of the bike but not sure the application for dirt.

You are about in the middle of the adjustment. I've tried all the settings and am now at the second ring down. It changes seat height and frame geometry as does your rear sag setting does. Just try different positions and see what blows your skirt up.
