Stock Bar Bend

Recommended Posts

The stock Renthal fat bar is p/n 672-01 on this chart:

http://www.renthal.com/fbmaster.asp

Height of 80mm, sweep of 57mm

The closest to this in ProTaper is the Carmichael:

http://www.protaper.com/charts/chart-eastonbars.html

Height of 77mm, sweep of 55mm

I run the Carmichael protaper as I like the slightly lower, slightly straigher bend.

Thanks Mountain Dog, thats what I'm looking for! Do you find the Protapers have less vibration in them then the stock Renthal fat bar?

I've never noticed vibration thru the bars as being an issue on any of my dirt bikes thru the years, but what I noticed with the fatbar, both when I tried one on my '04 RM250 and then on the stock RMZ450, was that they seemed to transmit more 'impact' or 'harshness' from bumps than the ProTapers do.
