Recommended Posts

I was wondering what would cause the oil to be whitsh-Grey I can not see any water in it. replaced all the water pump seals and every seal where it could leak coolant into the trans oil.

totally normal.it is dirty from your clutch plates.you need to change the gear box oil every couple of rides on that 1-2-5.

Exactly what the drill instructor said, it's normal from burning the fibers. The motor oil your running will wear the plates quickly. Heat the bike up and drain the oil until it's done draining. Then add a quart of type F trans fluid. This is what I did to my bike and no more gray oil or slipping clutch. The ATF can withstand the heat and will not break down like motor oil. It's only a suggestion.
