four stroke sex change to two stroke?

will a 2 stroke motor bolt into a four stroke 2001 ttr 225?

With enough time, $$$, and fabricating skills anything is possible. It would be more along the lines of a heart transplant rather than a sex change though. I doubt there are any direct swaps for a 2 stroke motor in that bike

why? you could seel your bike and buy a 125 or 250 2 stroke of the same year for as much as you'd get for your bike.

plus you'd have nice suspencion ect.

Exactly. Lots of work for little gain. You'd wind up with a bike with a hard power hit that would suck in the trails, or a bike that has the power and oomph to take big air, but not the suspension.

Sell what you have and get a pinger if thats your desire.

If a 125 is too tall. You can have one of these built. It's a CR125 motor in a CR85 chassis.
