K&N filter

i no this is supposed to be in trucks/trailers..but i need a quick answer. please dont delete.

My brothers K&N filter in his truck needs to be clean. I know you can rewash the filters for a lifetime. How do you do it tho? Do you just wash it clean with the hose and let it dry, or is there some ceratin cleaner? Help quick cause i need to do it and let it dry! thanks

I know that K&N makes a cleaning solution to get the dirt and old oil off. Then you spray on new oil to the filter. I would go to their web site and get some answers from them directly. ?

The TT store sells the K&N Air Filter Oil and the K&N Cleaner & Degreaser. I spray the filter with cleaner then wait about ten min. then rinse with water from the inside out, while lightly tapping the filter to help get sand out. Repeat if necessary! Dry and re-oil. The K&N products work real well so I have never tried to clean them any other way.

Spray it with the filter cleaner and hose it off, then once it dries just lightly reoil it.
