CR80 cylinder interchangeabillity <that even a word?

I am rebuilding a 1991 CR80 at the moment. Blowen top and bottom end. The crank is being rebuilt but the cylinder is dead. To have it bored and plated, or sleeved will be about $300 any place it gets taken. The person I am rebuilding it for found a 1898 cyl that is still in good shape besides a few minor scraches, just could use a hone.

My question is... would a 1989 CR80 cyl. fit properly onto a 1991 case, head ?
