Blue Diamond Question

Recommended Posts

Blue Diamond lists on offroad track in addition to the MX tracks. Is this a hare scramble track? I am not a MXer but I like hare scramble and woods riding. Blue Diamond is only an hour away and I'm thinking about trying it. I would be riding a KTM 200EXC. Any feedback is appreciated. ?

Yes, what blingbling said is correct......

It's basically an easier, smaller form of MX track. It is totally out in the open (i.e. it's NOT near any trees)

I was there Saturday, and actually the track was relatively loamy, which was a nice suprise from it's usual Hardpack. I like to ride the "off-road track", when I'm too tired to handle the MX track.

How would most of you rate the regular MX track, as compared to most other MX tracks in the Mid-Atlantic area?? (i.e. easier than most, about the same, or more difficult?)

I've only ridden Blue D's MX track and Rausch Creek, so I don't have a real "reference" to go by. Let me know your views.
