143 Upgrade this weekend...any tips/tricks?

Recommended Posts

I get my GF's 125 back this week and plan to assemble this weekend. I went with the Powroll hi comp piston and mid grind cam. Also getting a valve job, bought new valve springs and rockers. Plan to bump the current 107.5MJ to 112.5. I also got a new timing chain, but not sure i can swap out the old without further disassembly. I have the service manual too, but what are some basic tips/tricks from you pro engine builders? Like gasket maker on the head and cyl gaskets? Break-in tips? Some say seat the rings by riding it harder, others say baby it... ANy and all tips and tricks are welcome. Thanks in advance.
