Out For The Season

Recommended Posts

Well everyone I went to the track on Sunday we (me and my friends) rented it out for the day well I turned the choke on when we got there and started it up well I pulled out with the gas off and the choke on and the first thing I did was go for the 50 foot double that is right out of a turn so I hammered it and the bike was acting funny while I was picking up speed and all of a sudden the bike shut off on the face of the jump so I landed right on the backside of the double I tried to land I put all my weight on my left arm when I landed so now I'm out for the season and broke wrist in multiple places so I got to pick out a Honda Red cast and I can't ride or take the cast off for 6 weeks if you read above you will see what went wrong I had the choke on and the gas off I can't believe I did that

Man, that sucks. I'm sorta in the same boat too, except I think im only out for six weeks. I was at the track this past saturday and was doing a simple inside line left hander. What happened was my front tire popped out of the rut, the bike fell to the right and crushed my foot. I got X-Rays and it turns out I broke my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Metatarsal in my foot. Pretty stupid way to break a bone...or bone"s"

CR85, were you wearing good boots?

1996Cr125, sorry to hear that but i have a feeling the world is safer now.

That funny you mention that. The soles on my Tech 6's ripped out so I had no other choice but to wear my dads boots, which are somethin called Novogar that he got off ebay. He always goes "I love these boots, it's like those old Highpoints", and I always cursed them and told him they sucked. So the one ride I say "The hell with it", I wear them and the 2nd lap of my 2nd time on the track I break my foot. I told him I knew this wouldn't have happened if I was wearing my boots too. I knew those boots always hated me too, now they came back to bite me in the ass!

1) so I got to pick out a Honda Red cast.

/Sarcastic mode On.

Wow you got to pick a Honda red cast??? I`ve always wanted one of those. But I have heard you must be pro to get one. U must be a very good B fully sponsored rider.

/Sarcastic mode off.

I believe No. 1 is a more powerful proof of your stupidity than no. 2.

I truly hope that since you are gonna be out of the season you stop posting here and log in to www.Monkeyporn.com instead.

hey cr125, i thought u were a fully sponsered b rider i thought u would have blamed ur mechanics for shutting off ur gas but also u should be able to clear those 50 foot doubles if ur racing supercross this year. and i thought u said like 15-30 doubles were huge? did ur trophy girl monkeys kiss ur booboos better? :applause: well i guess it served u right after all the bullshit u started

Looks like if you ride only a Rm100 you don't need to give advice anymore than I do

Oh come on guys go easy on the kid.

BTW, why were you going balls to the wall on your first lap? I always take 2-3 laps real easy so that I get a chance to loosen up and by doing so, bad stuff doesnt happen to me. (like coming up short on a double)

Personally I dont ride on sunday. Why? It is the lords day. Besides that everytime I hear about someone getting hurt it is on a sunday.

EDIT:

Do you honestly think that your such a good rider that a kid on a mini cant beat you? At my race 2 weeks ago there were plenty of kids that were faster than me and I am man enough to admit it. Besides that, you are the one that crashed and got hurt because of a stupid mistake not him.

1996CR does it ever stop?? How on a 2-stroke did you start the bike choke on and gas off and make it out onto the track and some distance enough to wreck?? Have you never heard of warming up your bike properly? Don't tell me you are one of those ding dongs that fires up a 2 stroke from dead cold and pins it thinking that is a good way to warm it up?

Why are you lying. There is no way you took off riding and forgot to turn off your choke.

I think he's just makin an excuse for his fall. It was a rider mistake, not his gas/choke. Also, you must really be dumb/suck if you can't notice a difference in how your bike rides with the choke on...
