what kind of riding do you do? The 125 is fast and lighter and will cost you less to maintain than a 4st. 2st need top ends a little more often, but are way easier to do and cheaper. No valve issues.

I just love it when people chime in saying KTM parts are more expensive when they are NOT. KTM lowered all their prices drastically 2 years ago. Also the KTM break down far less than a japanese bike. I've own a 2000 KTM 250exc, 2003 KTM 250exc, and a 2003 KTM 125sx and the only thing I've had to replace is typical maintainence items like sparkplugs, tires, etc.

Go to www.kbb.com and www.nadaguides.com and look up the wholesale and retail prices on bikes. I know used 4 strokes do not keep their retail value like 2 strokes do.
