Tire pressure ??

Sorry if this is a repost. I searched and found many different answers to this question. What psi is best to use in -

(LOAM)

-SAND

-HARD PACKED

Depends on the conditions and the kind of tires, I start around 12.5 psi and increase or decrease depending on how it feels.

I have always done anywhere from 14 -16 psi depending on what and where I am riding. I find that with my 450x and desert type riding 16 guards against flats and makes the bike feel better.

Now that's just the opposite of what I do. I use lower pressure on hard, dry slick tracks to get more rubber on the ground. I use higher pressures on the looser tracks to keep the knobs open to grip the soil.

13 to 15 psi on hard packed tracks.

15 to 18 psi on loose soft tracks.

I never go over 12 psi,usually 11 front-10 back

I usually run 13 for hard packed and normal conditions. I will go down to 12 for wet/muddy conditions.
