My pics from the Motocross Des Nations

Got a few cool pix at the Nations over the weekend, aint got time to upload them all now but I thought you'd like this one of James Stewart just warming things up.... and Ryan Villopoto seeing if the tabletop is flat enough. I'll put more up over the next day or so. :lame:

As promised here are the rest of the ones worth looking at, 71 in total. Sorry if they seem large pics, i'm no expert with photoshop so when I had a go at making them smaller it just seemed to alter the quality to much. If they are clear enough you'll be able to crop them down or alter them to suit you guys if there are any you like. BTW use the slideshow on 2 seconds to see the sequences better

Awesome pictures, damn big though.:lame::p

Those guys sure know how to air out a bike! Nice pics!

good pics what kind of camera is that?

It's not the best... a Fuji Finepix S7000. I will change it for something that does better/clearer action shots without any delay this winter. I saw some good info on here a while back about which cameras to use to get real clear crisp action shots etc and mine aint really it. It's ok if you're a bit of distance away but I really struggle up close.

Thanks cool pictures!

Great pics :lame: some sick air and whips :p:bonk:

sweet pics, did usa win the des nations

Cool pics, thanks.

That was a hell of a race you guy's put on.

After hearing Townley say the track looked "soft" in an interview before the race I thought the track would be too easy.

That track was awesome!!

I watched the show on the internet sipping coffee in my skivie's at 7AM,,, that was great, especially the 2nd moto.

One of my favorites of the year.

Yip, although Stuart got beat by Everts twice (I wouldn't grumble at coming 2nd to a 10 times world champ though) he was backed up very well By Villopoto. Tedesco did well but I thought he'd do a bit better, he had a few bobbles and seemed to run out of steam towards the end of the races. Just goes to show how fast and fit the World circuit boys are coz I know he's no slacker. Antonio Cairoli from Italy was awsome too. Race 2 with him and Villopoto was worth going to watch just on its own.

Here's a site where you can check out all of the results, two things to remember.... they had six chances to score points(3 riders - 2 races each). From those six races they got to drop the one with the highest points score as it was scored 1st-1 point 2nd-2 points and so on. Lowest total score of 5 results won.

Thanks, wish I could take the credit. Couldn't believe the luck we had with the weather either, it's usually gonna rain one day over a weekend this time of year but it just had a few goes during the night, that's what made the track soft. I'm already looking forward to coming over to see how you guys do it next year. You are right about the 2nd race, it was wicked.

awesome!!

I watched it again last night after reading this thread. That was one hell of a moto. Can't wait to see how Caroili does over hear. He's got kind of an odd style (sits down a lot) I'll bet that changes after he's in USA for a bit.

Instant classic. :p:thumbsup:
