How do I mod. my s-forks to fit sm?

Im considering convert my drz400s -00 to a sm. What cheap mods can I do to make the forks more sm adapted? The sag is ok but I want the compression to be hard like on a road bike. It would be great if I easylie could make the suspension soft again when trail riding.

What options do I have? More forkoil, another viscosity?

Call John Cerea from the Suspension forum, he can set up.

Heavier fork springs ad different oil/adjustments make it sweet. If I can get over there this week we are setting up mine.

Thanx fore the advice , but Im looking fore some budget mods. Some one here must have tried to make the soft front suspension harder.. The front is ok when trail and enduro riding, but I´ll get sea sick when sm:ing :lame:

Maybe look at the Race Tech Emulators. Seek John's advice though.

Adjustments and fork oil are the only cheap mods.

From there it is all springs. He will properly spring my bike and install for under $300. Best money I'll ever spend. :lame:

If it needs revalved after riding for a while, that's where the big bucks come in. :p
