Recommended Posts

Hi ! I would like to know if some of you use notoil system for their air filter. Do you like it does it work like they said ( easy cleaning) do you feel your engine is well proteck with this oil , is it very tacky. Please give me your input if you use that.

I like it and have been using it for a few years now. Clean up is easy too. Just don't over oil it or it will be dripping for days. Also, wear gloves.

No Toil = Very Good

I've been using it since '01. I've had 4 bikes since then. Use it as described by the maker; clean your filter as described by the maker and you'll never go back to petroliem based oils. It has saved my marriage because now the house isn't all stunk up with gasoline vapors like it used to be!

Do a search on it to get mucho info here on TT.

It is the second best product behind the Rekluse z-start automatic clutch you can use on your bike IMHO.

Any of you guys have a problem with the grease that comes with the kit? My buddies have had the grease eat the filter base I seen it twice they change there filter every ride so I don't know what to think about the grease but the oil and cleaner seem to work really well and its easy.

Super easy!! just spray the filter with the cleaner rinse let dry then spray it with the foam and install! your done! and the no-toil factory is litterally right behind my house! you would figure I would have tried there product by now.........maybe I just like uni....I dunno. No-toil just seems like a lot of work to me.

I use a Twin-Air filter and frame with a Napalm filter screw (they work for me.) Use the Notoil oil and cleaner and love it. Some have advised wearing gloves and not over oiling...FOLLOW THAT ADVICE. I also recommend getting a 98-cent spray bottle for the oil. Trying to poor the oil on the filter evenly is a pain. I've found the spray bottle works perfect for applying it and not spilling any. If the openning of spray bottle gets clogged, just run a little hot water over the tip of the bottle and wipe with paper towel. Hope it works out for you!

I'll be odd man out. I used No-Toil for a year or so, and now I'm back to Maxima. The issue I had w/ No-Toil is that it's super hard on the filter (chemically I guess) After a period of time the filters de-laminate, and there's a goo residue on the airbox seal that's a pain to get clean.

For convienence though, No-Toil is hard to beat.

Been using No-Toil since 2000 and have had Zero problems. Easy clean up and well protected motor. Use a Freezer Zip-lock, insert filter, pour on oil, close zip lock and kneed the oil into the filter. I keep several filters in zip locks, oiled and ready to install.

Twin Air filter and No-Toil oil works for me. I get the oil in the aerosol can, makes it very easy to apply, just wear gloves. Also, the Napalm air filter bolt is a must!

You can also use Oxy Clean to clean the No Toil off the filter. It works great and costs less. You can get a big bucket of the stuff for about 5 bucks..

Just love N/T. I use the N/T spray can though as I feel it's faster then pouring it on, + you don't waste any.

LOOK AT IT THIS WAY ..............Honda and Kawasaki sell it with their name on it endorsing the product, so to a certain degree it must be tested by them quite a bit or they would't endourse it!

I've used No Toil on both bikes for over 2 years, the stuff is wonderful. Don't use their cleaner though, Oxy Clean is the same stuff and it's much cheaper, just use very hot water.

Their warranty is awesome too, if you have any issues with your filters, just return it to Lura and they replace them free of charge!

Been using NoToil for Years. Have no complaints yet. The inside of the airbox is always clean from any signs of dust or fine sand. Never see a reason to change. Since its watersoluble, I add the oil when the airfilter is damp. This helps it to soak in uniformly all around the filter.
