(az) fossil creek (off 260 outside camp verde), 11/15

A couple of us are going along the fossil creek trail/road next wed. We'll probably get to the intersection of hwy 260 & fossil creek road, park, & ride. It's around 3000'-2000' elevations, so it shouldn't be too chilly.. we should try & get started around 9 or so.

Fossil creek road is off 260 on the south, as you go out of camp verde.. right after you pass forest road 618 on the left. it can go up to payson, or further down to childs, where there is a hot springs. We can let the weather dictate where we go..

Here's the link w/pics for this ride. I'm going to add some detail.. elevations, maybe gps info, more descriptions. Planning another one.. maybe week after thanksgiving.. next week will be too hectic with family coming in, etc.
