TTR 230 Rear sprocket

Has anyone found an aftermarket REAR sprocket ?

Dosen't renthal have sprockets that fit? I think because my son wants on for Christmas. I'm not sure they fit but, are worth looking into.

Just searched Renthal's site and couldn't find anything for the TTR230. Found sprockets and 428 conversion kits for the CRF230, but nothing for the TTR. Does anyone know if the rear hub x references with an older model Yamaha ? Renthal has a bunch for older XT, TT, DT's

Let me know if you find a rear, I'm about to put a 14 on the front, Ive heard great reviews on it, it improves 1st and 3rd a lot. Front Sprocket:

I know this is the hot ticket once you uncork the TTR230. I just wanted to say that I put the 14 tooth on yesterday without uncorking yet and it made a nice difference on the stocker. Made 1st gear more usable and made 3rd gear much more usable. FYI if you didn't already know, the TTR230 uses the same front sprocket as a Yamaha Blaster Quad.

using 14 tooth Moose Counter Sprocket part number 1212-0062. This isn't a huge gear ratio change, so was it worth the $17. Yes - I did get some noticeable

Yes. I purchased a 45 tooth rear sprocket from Sprocket Specialist, through Zoom Cycles, 408 248 5780. I also have a BBR chain guide for a ttr 125. Fits right on. I lost top speed, but cruises at lower rpm. Down hill I hit 72 mph. GPS...GYTR Pipe with pilot jet mod, KN air filter with opened air box. Also got rid of O ring chain..to much drag.. The new sprocket weighs about 2 pounds less...Mostly dual sport use..

Your running 13/45 or 14/45 ? Either way that makes the TTR230 geared much higher, which should increase top speed? Do you have any part numbers. I researched SS also and couldn't find anything.

I believe mooseracing.com also provides rear sprockets for the TTR230 . . .

Thanks Yamajeb. I found the 49 and 50 tooth in aluminum on mooseracing.com. Now if I could only find a 47

What ever the stock countershaft sprocket is, what I have. I specialed ordered mine through Zoom cycles. They said I could have any number of teeth I wanted. It took about two weeks. With a higher 6th gear, the engine, with my weight (220) wont pull to the rev limiter, but it is a good trade off for comfortable cruising. I get about 60 mpg on my dual sports.
