The technical name for them is: feeler gauge.

You can get one at any auto parts store.

Good luck. Do a search on here for helpful tips on checking and adjusting your valves. It is not hard but the experience of others will help you get through the first time.

Snap on Tools.They make one that is about .25" wide.Costs about $10.

Try to find a set that has your correct size and also one size larger and one size smaller. That just seems to give me a better idea of the fine line between too tight and too loose.
