The road itself is only a few miles at best and dead ends at the mine. Not much of a ride.

It use to head up into the forest at a fork at the mine but it's been closed for over 7 years since the station fire, ase are most of the trails in ANF...

At any rate, the road comes off Aliso Canyon at the bottom near Acton.

Thanks.  It's a shame so many roads are closed

Opinions are like, well, you know lol.
I think a stubby would look cool on it.

I ordered 1 on eBay a week ago from Florida but it got held up from the hurricane. I lost patience and went to Summit Racing and picked this up today. If the other shows up I'm going to trim it. I saw a few pics online of trimmed ones that looked cool.

I've had the stubby front fender look for 12 years. I'm digging the new look. If I get bored I have 5 different fenders now to choose from.

Figured I better post this under  "Let's see your Z"  I goofed and posted it up under "What did I do" - wrapped up a quick video of a ride up Mt Almagre. The bike performed flawlessly all the way up to near 13,000 Ft. and that was coming from 1,200.  Never changed the jetting and still power wheelie at the flick of a wrist during the climb.

(That could just be the Big Bore and Hotcams coupled with the CVK40 that kept the front wheel light)
