cr8e or the cr8e ix? whats the difference in the ix plug?
the ix is the Iridium plug...I have not had great luck with them on 99-2003 yzfs ..I have not used them on my 06...but they do cost more $$$$
The cr8ix is NGK's iridium plug. See link below for comparison.
CR8E works quite well. Don't see a need for the fancy one.
I use the goofy looking CR8EK.
i heard the ix plugs were more stator friendly, well at least on the 50cc ktm's.
There is nothing about an Iridium/Platinum plug that would affect the stator on anything one way or other. The are all resistor plugs, and the plug is connected to the secondary, not the primary.
