My supermotoproject for 2007

Recommended Posts

...Is now officially started.

The bike is a street-legal WR450 from 2004.

I'm going to paint the frame black, polish and freshen up as much parts as possible, change the suspension, change piston, and make the bike really personal and so on...

Everything is done by myself so if you have any questions, just ask.

I tuned the engine last winter by doing a portjob, changing the valves to stainless plus adding a Kibblewhite springkit to deal with the new valveweight,

YZ exhaust cam, Dynojet stage II, AP-mod, K&N filter, opened airbox, own built last part of exhaust with an Akrapovic silencer. The bike produces 53,65Hp at the rear wheel.

I've fixed the right side of the airbox to make the bike breath even more. This bike really needs air. I made some drawings in "Paint" before I started cutting.

I've started this thread a couple of weeks ago in a swedish forum so I'm adding as much info as I have up to date.. Thought maybe more would be interested.

Carbon fiber protectors are added to the frame to keep the paint where it belongs
