anyone ever seal gas tank, to keep decals on.

this guy at the shop said he heard, that you can seal the inside of your tank.

if this is true, how do you do it , and what is the sealer called..

The only sealer I have ever heard of is Kreme. It is for sealing the interior of a steel tank, usually for rust.

There's a few different brands of sealer, usually two part like an epoxy with metal particle filler for strength, meant to glue/hole-seal/surface-seal a rusted or even rusted-through metal tank. They wouldn't stick to plastic. You may be SOL for stopping the porous natue of plastic gas tanks vs gas vapour.
