How come there are no 2007 KTM 450 SXF running in the AMA Supercross Championships?

Is KTM not worried about the 250 class and just focusing on the lites?

Yes - I saw one at A1 also. But there are several racing on Canadian Motocross 450 class - check it out on Speed channel every week. They're fairing quite well, finishing top 10. The bike is definitely capable of being competitive with any other if it's in the right rider's hands.

KTM doesn´t have the funding to hire a marquee rider for 450 class. Remember,it´s a small factory compared to big 4 . Maybe next year.

no. joe oloff was riding one at the canadian and A1 race. but mike alessi will be riding a 450 in the outdoors. but he will be riding the 125 east and then moving up to the 450 after.

The riders capable of running in the top ten are getting multi million dollar contracts, the rest don't sell any bikes so the problem with trying to break into that camp is, "is a 10th place rider worth a million? Or are they better off to provide competitive machines to privaters. Honda can spread their advertising expenditures over lawn mowers, street bikes, cars etc.
