Got your email and pics, measured mine and it's 5 inchs long too.

I'll try and fit it again in the morning, too damn cold out in the shop tonight and don't feel like crankin' on the heat.

Got it to fit and wired it up. Bike looks a lot better without the coil on the frame.

I'll post up after the next ride and let you guys know if this was the cause.

right now my jetting i'd run there is 42pj 165mj 4th clip 1.5 turns:thumbsup:

Hey Bob, with these settings are you using the blue, red or stock needle? Also do you have your AP lever wired or o-ringed, and did you have to adjust the squirt? My bike still has a bog off idle and it seems AP timing related but hard to tell if it needs more or less of a squirt.

And yes I'm still dealing with the heat related issue too. I've changed the stator, coil and done various jetting changes but I still have to let it cool after an hour or two's ride to go again.
