How far was that jump the guy did in the desert and waaaaaay over jumped the landing and the bike fell apart on landing impact? Sorry for all of the generalities in the description.

I think you're talking about Seth Enslow. Not sure on that distance, but it was big.

Correct me if im wrong, but I think the jump when seth fell was only a parctice jump and was only in the low 200's.....Not saying thats a short jump or anything!

I seen a tv show a long time ago with Seth in it, and they showed that wreck at the sand dunes. They said it was probably 400+ feet. I don't know it looked like he just kept on flying and flying.

That jump gets bigger every time someone talks about it. I think the original estimate was around 300'.

No I was there and he landed on my bike, it was at least 2300' and around 125 feet' high. but seriously did you hear that dill-hole Ralph Sheheen last week say the racers were "jumping over 60' high into the air"

Cool jump video.

I think Capes went higher and farther.

They are both distance jumpers that use a arcing trajectory to go farther.

Vs the old Evil Kneivel, more speed for more distance method.

But if you are talking "Motocross", I think that goes to Doug Henry who did a whiskey throttle off the big drop away jump at Red Bud. Broke his back and wrists on the landing.
